When is the Chainsaw Man Movie Coming Out?
The sequel to the first season of Chainsaw Man is set to premiere in Japanese theaters on September 19, 2025. However, as of now, an international release date has not been confirmed. The announcement was made during a special panel at this year’s AnimeJapan event.
What is the Reze Arc About?
Instead of a second season, the Reze Arc movie will continue the main story of Chainsaw Man.. According to the official synopsis:
“Denji, now a member of Special Division 4, continues his life as Chainsaw Man. After a long-awaited date with Makima, he takes shelter from the rain and encounters Reze, a café worker who changes his life.”
This movie will adapt the Bomb Girl Arc (chapters 40-52) from the manga, a crucial part of the Public Safety Saga. Fans can expect high-energy battles, deep emotions, and plenty of explosive action.
